An older VSOP resulting in lots of woody notes with some brown sugar on the nose. Very smooth for a VSOP with vanilla and oak on the palate.

Legend Has it that Napoleon held Emmanuel Courvoisier's cognac in such high esteem that he took with him hundreds of bottles to enjoy during his years in exile. This reserve became known as Le Cognac de Napoleon, a description still proudly borne today on all Courvoisier cognac. With aromas from the eau de vie and the wood, with full taste and character that leaves a clean and fresh finish on the palate.

A blend of well-matured Grande and Petite Champagne, Fins Bois and Borderies crus. Aged 6-12 years. Distinctive, mellow taste, with aromas of spicy vanilla and gingerbread.
