Member Review by 77Wino:

Decant for an hour. Spice, black fruit attack red fruit mid palate sexy tannin finish.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

The 1998 Hermitage is a great wine. Every cuvee of 1998 Hermitage - Peleat, L'Ermite, Meal, Rocoules, Les Beaumes, and Les Bessards - was tipping the scale in the mid-ninety point range. It is a large-scaled, dense purple-colored Hermitage with swe... Robert Parker. A Syrah wine from Rhone in France. 1998 Chave, J L Hermitage 750ml
