Chateauneuf du Pape Marcoux 2011

Winemaker's Notes:

"The 2011 Chateauneuf du Pape is 80% Grenache, 10% Mourvedre, 7% Syrah and 3% Cinsault aged in both cement tank (two-thirds) and truncated oak vats. A strong effort, it offers attractive notes of strawberries, black cherries, raspberries, licorice, lavender and spice box. This medium to full-bodied, rich, heady (15%+ alcohol) 2011 is one of the most successful wines of the vintage. It should drink nicely for 10-12 years...90-92" WA 10/12
