Chateau Lafayette Reneau Pinot Noir 2007

External Review by Prestige Wine & Spirits:

Densely fruited and full in body, this Pinot offers a whopping mouthful of rich, preserved plum flavor flecked with hints of burnt sugar and dried herbs. Bright acidity and soft, smooth tannins add finesse and elegance.

Chateau Lafayette Reneau:
We cordially invite you to savor 140 acres of vineyards, ponds, and woodlands. Our brick house and renovated barn/winery are from an earlier, simpler time. The panoramic view of Seneca Lake is absolutely spellbinding. Your visit here is more than another trip to a winery. It's a vacation from daily stress. This is the ideal place to nurture wine & dreams.
Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

This is another delicious wine from Chateau Lafayette Reneau, one of New York’s premier wineries. This rich, ruby-colored wine has flavors of ripe cherries and currants and a long, lovely finish. Serve with roast chicken, sloppy joes or grilled cheese sandwiches.
