Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte Cuvée Palmes d'Or Rosé Millésimée 2002
Wine Spectator Review Rated 91 Pure Pinot fruit leaps from the glass in this rich, vinous Champagne, which is well put together with a hint of tannins shoring up the finish. Has nice length. Think chicken in a morel sauce. Drink now through 2018. Wine Tasting Notes The color is deep, with hints of copper and varied pink tones. It is lightened by its bubbles and evokes the exotic, velvet-like texture that is to follow. Expressive aromas of wild strawberries and bigaroon cherries entice one. The feel on the palate is sensuous and the full, rounded flavors have a rich feel to them and linger for ever. Blend: 50 % Pinot Noir from Bouzy, 50 % Pinot Noir from Les Riceys
Vivid cherry nose, with some soft biscuit notes. Good acidity, and a powerful mousee of bubbles. Dry, but not too stark, the cherry is sweet and fruity. Its not the softest of rose's, but its very nice. A robust rose champagne. Served with shrimp pasta in a spicy tomato sauce.

With 90% of this wine produced from pinot noir and pinot meunier, the color is more salmon than pink; the nose is dominated by red berry fruit , and yeasty hints; on the palate, it is refreshingly dry with the fruit characteristics echoing the nose, with good weight and luscious notes; the finish is long and lingering.
A real surprise! Juicy strawberry and cherry flavors with a touch of green apple and warm brioche. Fried zucchini flowers stuffed with fresh mozzarella and tomato concassé.
This is spicy, showing strawberry and cherry flavors that fold nicely into the rich texture. The spice elements continue from start to finish. Nice length. Drink now.
A strong effervescence carries the cherry liqueur and gingerbread notes and lends a textural component to this Champagne. It finishes on the dry side. Drink now.
Exotic notes of candied orange peel, cinnamon and kirsch mark this intense rose, which stays lightweight and elegant, with a silky texture and a lingering aftertaste of dried berry and spice. Drink now through 2012.
Beautiful color and aroma with complexity that creates one of the better non-vintage rosés; medium dry with hints of berries and spice.
A round, fruity style, with easy appeal and cherry and berry flavors. Persistent, yet balanced on the soft side. Drink now.
