Bv Coastal Estates Cabernet Sauvignon 2006
This wine's 70th annversary, it was a special napa valley treat at the vineyard as well! Loads of intense concentrated berry fruit with currants and spices and peppers. Some dark chocolate appears combined with the rich dark fruit offers a rustic-ness to the wine with a lingering long finish
More spice, black fruit, dark berries, heavily concentrated offering more complexity than ranch 1 with spices and cocoa, deep structure and richness. has amazing aging potential
Very good wine. Nicely integrated in all aspects. Red and dark fruit with balanced acid and tannins. Great wine in honor of the founder of BV.
Layers of brambly blackberry, rustic yet elegant. - Tasted at winery 4/19/10

Even in this vintage, which was not so great, Beaulieu has succeeded with this dramatic, classic Cabernet Sauvignon. It's absolutely delicious, offering a range of blackberry, black currant and cedar flavors, complexed with notes of chocolate, anise, sweet smoky leather and Asian spices. Beautiful now for its velvety softness, but has the inherent structure to last for a long time. Through 2014, and much longer if you like older Cabernet. - S.H. ** Only 8 in Stock **
A gentle sort of Cabernet, with modest tannins and a supple frame, spotlighting pretty, dark raspberry and root beer flavors, and hints of smoke on the finish. quite a nice offering for so few dollars. Drink now.
Pronounced black cherry and dried herb aromas with a touch of cedar and pepper in the background. Medium bodied, with a nice spicy-herbal character, light tannins and fine acidity.
Classic mint-cassis and cherry Cabernet aromas are highlighted by distinctive earth or loam scents. Medium-bodied, with ripe cherry, mint-chocolate flavors, the wine currently shows a firm structure with fine tannins and good acidity, along with a touch of warmth from the ripe fruit.
93 Points - Robert Parker "The 2006 Proprietary Red Wine Tapestry Reserve (a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petit Verdot) is the finest example of this cuvee I have ever tasted. Flowery, licorice-infused, cassis notes intermixed with forest floor and lead pencil shavings are followed by a layered, impressively built wine with real opulence, lots of red and black fruits, low acidity, and lush tannin. It should drink well for 15+ years..."
