Bodegas Emilio Moro "Emilio Moro" 2010
Coming from a selection of vineyards between 15 and 25 years of age this wine spends 50% French and 50% American oak for 12 months prior to bottling. The Tempranillo clones are old and pure here, known as Tinto Fino.Rich intensity on the palate, with layers of concentrated blackberry, toasted herbs, leather and vanilla. Full-bodied and a long length, the remarkably integrated, ripe tannins give a firm structure. This 2010 Bodegas Emilio Moro shows why Ribera del Duero has become one of the top regions in Spain for concentrated red wines.
