Bodegas Abanico Rua Valdeorras 2010
"Bodegas Abanico’s 2010 RUA is a blend of three indigenous varieties, equal parts of Palomino, Dona Blanca, and Godello. Unique to say the least. Another, in what was a completely different night of wine tasting at the house. Cider vinegar right off the bad, not exacting the kind of intro that we'd thought, but different. After sitting and warming this develops a green herbal quality and a drop of honey that alone doesn't really set off any green lights, but with food this would be good. Think big greek salads and that style. Better warm than chilled. Drink now. Paul 84 points
Had this again with a light pasta and it was a perfect match.
Crisp, but not too sweet. Notes of lemon grass and melon.
