What a bouquet – sandalwood, balsam, and exotic spice – but rather a letdown in the mouth, at least for now. The tannins are pleading for more aging, and they’re drowning out some very promising berry flavors from these 85-year-old vines. Give it time. (AV 87, http://argovino.com/?p=867)
