Barton & Guestier Red Bordeaux Blend Bordeaux Contrôlée French Tom Reserve 2006
Wine Tasting Notes Straw colored with golden highlights. Intense and elegant nose, developing fruity notes (dried fruit, nuts), vanilla and toasted bread overtones. A smooth attack leads to a round structure supported by a good acidity. Lively, harmonious and pleasant wine that matches well with fish, chicken or lighter pastas.
Meh. Medium and relatively undistinguished fruit and spice. Little finish of note. Not actually bad, but at the price, no star. Fat? I think not.

A lovely wine, well balanced, with ripe tannins and intense mouth flavors of fruits and black pepper. A great match with wild game or roasted red meats.
