Araucano Carmenere Colchagua Valley 2009

Member Review by Chris Carpita:

Amaretto on the dry nose, with a bit of vegetation and marshmallow. Big red fruit body with nice acid and tannin balance, and pineapple on the finish. Interesting and fun to drink.

Hacienda Araucano:
These wines are a product of an old plot in Apalta, which Francois Lurton has been overseeing for many years.  The wines have good aging potential, produced with great care and attention, from the selection of the grapes to the balancing of the alcohol and acidity
