A To Z Pinot Gris Willamette 2010
The 2010 A to Z Pinot Gris leads with bright aromas of tropical fruits (lemon, lime, lychee, mango, passion fruit and kiwi) as well as melon, ginger, lemongrass and wet stone. Succulent and juicy on the attack, the mid-palate is drenched with peach, spiced pear, baked apple, quince, hibiscus, white flower and mineral flavors. On the finish, the acidity wraps up the wine with a clean, fresh palate and lasting impression of a wine with great purity and typicity balanced by some richness and depth.
This wine is just awesome! Complex whit fruit aromas with a hint of charcoal. Filling mouth in an extremely nice way.
A fragrant white, offering pretty pear, peach.... -HS
I asked the server to write down the name of this wine for me since I enjoyed it so much!

There are 9,300 cases of the excellent 2003 Pinot Gris. This fabulous value displays an engaging nose of honeyed floral scents. Lushly-textured, suave, and packed with sweet minerals, this well-made medium-bodied wine is ideal for drinking over the next 12-18 months.
A to Z Wineworks is a partnership of two winemaking families who actually did grow up in the wine industry, unlike the corporate types who abandoned their careers after watching the movie "Office Space" and tried to become winemakers. The erratic Oregon weather of the 2004 vintage proves that these original winemaking families hold the key to Pinot Gris. The presence of juicy green apple here is undeniable, and it is accented by a touch of honey to define the slight creaminess of the wine. Lively acidity and stimulating freshness make this wine a wise choice over any Pinot Grigio.
Light, bright and open, effusively fruity, with pretty pear and floral flavors, finishing with a nice touch of green melon. Drink now.
Displaying fresh melon, apricots, and yellow plums, the light to medium-bodied 2004 Pinot Gris is a vivacious, flavorful wine filled with citrus fruits and almonds. This wonderful value should be drunk over the next 12 months.
Bright and lively, with juicy nectarine and subtle spice flavors. Lingers gently on the dry finish. Drink now.

Their business model is simple: to produce and market Oregon's best wine values by concentrating on their core competencies of acquisition, blending and marketing. We especially appreciate the company's slogan, "Aristocratic Wines at Democratic Prices!" This 2010 Pinot Gris was rated a Best Buy and given an 88-point score by Wine & Spirits. The 2010 Oregon Wine Awards judged it Double Gold, Best of the Best. Not bad for an everyday white wine gem!The 2010 A to Z Pinot Gris leads with bright aromas of tropical fruits (lemon, lime, lychee, mango, passion fruit and kiwi) as well as melon, ginger, lemongrass and wet stone. Succulent and juicy on the attack, the mid-palate is drenched with peach, spiced pear, baked apple, quince, hibiscus, white flower and mineral flavors. Malolactic fermentation was intentionally blocked to retain freshness and purity of fruit. On the finish, the acidity wraps up the wine with a clean, fresh palate and lasting impression of a wine with great purity and typicity balanced by some richness and depth. Enjoy A to Z Oregon Pinot Gris with baked salmon, grilled chicken, risotto, pasta and mild cheeses.
Bright primary aromatics of minerals and fruit: kiwi, lychee, grapefruit, passion fruit, and nectarine. The promise of juicy fruit is met on the palate with perfectly ripe flavors and great acidity. The very long finish is clean and soft.
