Zephyr Wine Adventures takes you to wine country like no one else: On the ground, up close and personal. Rather than sit on a bus or in a van, Zephyr's tours are always active: on foot, by bike, via canoe, and even on horseback. With their expert guidance you’ll be able to enjoy the vineyards and picturesque landscapes of some of the grandest wine-producing regions on earth, including Spain, Napa, Chile, South Africa, and beyond.

With Zephyr, you experience a land with all your senses as you bike or hike through the vineyards. With most wine country vacations, you are limited to tasting room visits and the occasional winery tour. On a Zephyr Wine Adventure, you actually get into the vineyards themselves and learn how the grapes are grown.

Zephyr strives to create trips for all ability levels and for people with a variety of wine experiences. Most days include activity options for shorter and longer routes. Plus, a support van and professional guides are always there to help when needed. Absolutely no wine experience is necessary but those of you with knowledge will enjoy intimate contact with winery owners and vineyard managers.

No matter what your choice, Zephyr Wine Adventures is a great way to experience wine country, so check out their upcoming trips and book yours today!

What to expect on a Zephyr Wine Tour

Each Zephyr Wine Adventure comes with double occupancy lodging, local transportation, dinners, breakfasts, wine tours and tastings, and at least two professional guides. Rather than simply riding past vineyards, you'll have scheduled stops to interact with winery owners, vineyard managers, and other experts. Each tour location is a little different - Zephyr takes you biking in Spain, walking in Sonoma County, and engaged in multiple activities in Chile and Argentina. In South Africa, they even include a safari!

Non-drinkers will also enjoy these tours. The Burgundy, Provence, Italy, and South Africa wine tours are especially suited to non-drinkers, as the wineries can optionally be skipped or limited. Prices range from $1800 to $2900 depending on the location, not including transportation to the tour site.
