O Wines

O Wines was established in 2006, in Woodinville, Washington with the express mission of funding scholarships for low income women. To date they have funded over $175,000 of scholarships through the sale of their wines. There are a pair of wines on offer today, a red blend featuring Syrah and Merlot, two grapes that thrive in Washington, along with some Cabernet in there along with a Chardonnay, both from the Columbia Valley AVA. Priced at $16 and $14 respectively, these are very affordable options that can help make higher education affordable for some deserving young women. It's really a small price to pay to help someone make more of their life.

Thanks for your thoughtful article, Gregory! I appreciate you helping to get the word out re: the Sip&Give campaign. It is inspiring reading the stories of some of the other wineries who have made giving such a central part of their businesses. Happy to send you some Bravium wines so you can familiarize yourself with my flagship Pinot Noir, etc. Thanks again. Derek Rohlffs, Proprietor & Winemaker, Bravium

Boisset Family Estates also "gives back" frequently, in a variety of ways. One example: they donate $1 from the sale of each bottle of their Frenchie wines (which feature Jean-Charles Boisset's French Bulldog on the label) to the ASPCA. We can also organize private tastings for charitable groups through our Boisset Wine Living at Home program. Cheers!

Schmitt Sohne's brand RELAX Pink has partnered with the SAVE THE TA-TAS Foundation and donates $1.00 each time #RELAX4TaTas is shared or mentioned in social media circles. In 2012 we donated $25,000 and have committed another minimum donation of $25,000 in 2013. We're proud to support such an outstanding organization working tirelessly towards breast cancer research.

When my wife and I visited Benziger in May, a van was there to deliver employees that have some level of handicap. It truly was impressive to see many of those less fortunate being given a degree of accomplishment they otherwise would not experience !
