Wild Turkey Cocktails for Thanksgiving

Another bird worth having

As you may or may not have picked up on at this point, I am a huge brown spirits drinker. If there was a matchup between vodka or gin and whiskey or Scotch, the latter would win out every time. As the weather gets chillier and the holidays approach, now is the best time to pull out your favorite bottle of whiskey and let that spicy and smoky liquid warm you up.

One of my favorite whiskies to drink all year round, but especially around the holidays, is Wild Turkey. I find it to be one of the better whiskies out there, with a really interesting and complex flavor profile that makes it an easy spirit to mix into cocktails.

If you’re looking for a good whiskey to accompany your Thanksgiving feast, Wild Turkey is a fantastic choice. Not only does it taste incredible, but it’s awesomely appropriate given the bird that sits center stage at Thanksgiving dinner. Wild Turkey, turkey dinner...you do the math.

Below are some fun Wild Turkey cocktails that will be perfect for your Thanksgiving dinner. Wild Turkey has three different expressions--Wild Turkey 81, Wild Turkey 101 and Wild Turkey American Honey Liqueur--so don’t be afraid to mix and match them for different recipes and see how you enjoy each one. Cheers, and happy Turkey Day!

With an All American whiskey such as Wild Turkey, why the metric measurements? Alter all this is an US Holiday and ounce is still the standard for us. David in FL

@gilroy American Honey is the liqueur that is made from Wild Turkey! It's fantastic, I highly recommend buying a bottle for yourself and trying it out!
