2008 Kracher Beerenauslese Cuvee Burgenland Austria 12.5% $25/375ml
Candied grapefruit, peach, lychee and vanilla notes on the nose show banana skin and floral nuance. Sweet tasting on entry, this delivers lots of sweet, candied fruit notes along with some marzipan and coconut cream that leads to a peachy, slightly honeydew melon-toned finish. Shows decent length but lacks some aromatic brightness. A rather soft feel, though this does have plenty of acid, makes this easy to drink. 90pts

If reviewing Dessert wines why on earth do you exclude Sauternes and Tokays???
