2008 Jorge Ordonez Moscatel No. 2 Victoria Malaga Spain 13% $22/375ml

Very mineral-driven on the nose with clean notes of lemon,  polleny flowers and green anise seed. Pretty sweet on the palate, but at the same time this is lively, bright and refreshing. Pure flavors of lemon and apricot are topped with softly sweet floral notes and wrapped up in light honey tones. The finish turns a little figgy and is a touch short, though there is a sneaky mineral vein that adds some salinity to the finale. 91pts
