No, let’s get a real cocktail somewhere rough and tumble, a vestige of old New Orleans.
There are two place that top my list, the first being Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop way down on Bourbon street past the frat boys and dancing girls. This is a no frills drinking establishment where you can sip away the night by flickering candlelight and relive the days before Bourbon Street became the tourist destination it is today.
