A Glass After Work. It's a simple luxury many of us look forward to on any given weeknight. Sure, a glass of something special is always welcome; but honestly, the act of sitting down with a generous pour of almost anything, simply to take the edge off the day, can be a pleasant ritual in itself.

That's precisely the premise behind the site of the same name. Alleigh started her blog as a wine enthusiast about to embark on her first class at the Washington Wine Academy, after which she completed the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 2 Intermediate and Level 3 Advanced Certificates in Wines and Spirits. She's also a certified Spanish Wine Educator through the Wine Academy of Spain. For someone who just wanted to further her interest in wine, we'd say that's a pretty impressive showing!

But ultimately, Alleigh's approach to tasting and rating wine is informative, honest and easy to understand. She makes it a goal to find "excellent everyday wines" with value in mind. After all, for someone who's kept her day job, we're betting there's still plenty of room in her life to squeeze in the occasional end-of-day glass.
