Look at those big diurnal shifts in the forecast in Santa Barbara. Absolutely gorgeous weather int he forecast, summer by day autumn by night.  Wh can say ripe fruit and good acids?

In Lodi the weather looks pretty darn good, with moderate highs, plenty of sunshine and lows that are flirting with 50 degrees.

Walla Walla, Washington

There's more rain in the forecast for Walla Walla but the weather does appear to clear up nicely after the rains, allowing for the vines to dry out and recover should  folks be waiting on fruit.

Tokaj, Hungary

The weather looks to be pretty good in Tokaj, particularly for the sweeter wines affected by botrytis, though controlling other forms of rot can be a challenge in conditions such as these.

    Napa and Sonoma got rain over the weekend--a quick burst, and it looks like it could be fine, but the timing was not favorable. Looking like a nice week ahead and we should see harvests wrapping up over the next two weeks, if I had to guess.

    Re Napa, Sonoma, Santa Cruz Mountains, Contra Costa and Alameda Counties - Sat was about 25mm of rain where 2-3mm were expected.
