Deeper blackberry flavors and a bit harsher on the front than the ’07. This softens quite a bit on the palate. Nicely earthy throughout the fruit flavors. Tannins show up on the finish.

We tasted some of Verite's wines early last year at the recommendation from a young lady at the Jordan Winery were we also had a tasting. We bought one bottle ($100+) to have with dinner but refrained from buying more due to the prices. Their top of the line wine at that time was being offered at $450 per bottle. Having bought Harlan Estate, Bond, etc for half of that price simply put us off.
