More black raspberry here and a bit oakier, with a little wood spice. Very juicy in the mouth with a little animal appearing here as well. Lighter fruit on the back end with an almost strawberry finish.

We tasted some of Verite's wines early last year at the recommendation from a young lady at the Jordan Winery were we also had a tasting. We bought one bottle ($100+) to have with dinner but refrained from buying more due to the prices. Their top of the line wine at that time was being offered at $450 per bottle. Having bought Harlan Estate, Bond, etc for half of that price simply put us off.
