How can you write so many personal opinions and value judgments and formerly private experiences without a byline????????

Oh, and '71 was far from the best vintage for Latour. Basically you were experiencing for the first time a maturing Latour that was no longer dumb and had finally started to open up. The others were still closed, plus also from lesser vintages, though the '75 was better than the '71 except for the fact that Latour took aeons to open up. '70 would've been better for the purposes of your tasting, and the '61 and '59 you mentioned would've changed your entire world view.
