8 Great Northern Italian Wines Now I feel at home, and not just because Italian wines are where my heart is, but also because you can put together a giant list of great Italian wines at attractive prices. This issue of Wine Spectator focused on the Northeast of the country and Tuscany, so there was a lot to choose from! I’ve narrowed down the list to nine wines, though three are from a single producer and one of those isn’t really a great value. Maybe I’m just sentimental.

We are introducing our QPR rating for these wines. It is a simple ranking dividing point score by price, offering you another way to compare wines.
