Check out more perfect wines for the season in 10 White Wines for Spring
Gregory Dal Piaz,
Greg, I have 3 light reds for you to try if you can get your hands on them. The first is Lone Madrone Mezcla Roja, Sculpterra Grenache (70 cases or so made), and Wild Horse Blaufrankish. All are from Paso Robles and some might be available at the winery only. What the heck, it's a great excuse to go to a great wine region in Ca.

Fresh Market stores have a private label Cab that comes from Walla Walla Wash.that is very light bodied and a wonderful flavor. They have very tight quality controls. I am enjoying an 07 right now. AND it is less than 10 bucks a bottle! I just bought a case. I am trying their Merlot next.
