#4 Authentic Wine: Toward Natural and Sustainable Winemaking

by Jamie Goode and Sam Harrop MW

Confused by all the talk revolving around natural wine and its permutations and implications? It's about time someone put pen to paper and explained it, in easy to understand language, with arguments that rest firmly on scientific foundations. Jamie Goode, a well-known wine journalist, has partnered with Sam Harrop, master of wine, to produce this excellent take on what might as well be called, "Defining Wine's Buzz Words, 2012 Edition!" Endlessly interesting and sure to stimulate much thought, it's a must read for the avid consumer.

Tim Fenton's a man after my own heart! I love telling little stories about wines I sell...about my trip to that vineyard, how a celebrity had a runner purchase a particular wine from me, it helps make wine less daunting and more personalized! That book's going on my wish list!!!

  • You know what's really good?

Giving someone a book on, for example, port - and also giving them the wine it describes!

Nothing like drinking a wine while you're reading about it.

(Or am I simply posting my own Xmas wishlist...? Is that you, Mrs K?)
