Living in Oakland I can buy essentially any CA wine that ever circulates in channels outside of the wineries, but this is a very good list. Some of these will do very well after having been laid down just a few years, such as the Martini Sonoma or the Rodney Strong (just drank the last of their 1999 - those were past their peak). I have bought perhaps 3 or 4 cases of St Supery from 2004 thru 2006 - it is an extremely well balanced cab, a touch less tannic than I like, but always well enjoyed by guests. Oberon was just discovered by me about 6 months ago, it is about 13usd at Costco, and I think has real potential to be the best under $20 wine out there.

When I first saw the Rodney Strong listed, I thought it was the Sonoma County because the picture showed that. It looks like the Alden was reviewed. The 2006 Sonoma County was outstanding.

You guys screwed up big time. The wine you pictured is a South African Cabernet Sauvignon. Proof your postings before submitting them to the public.
