The Daily Rant from Piemonte Sitting here bleary eyed and jet lagged in Verduno, Piemonte, heart of Barolo country and I just had to get things started.

This is the place to find the hot tips I have for all of you, and the inside scoop from Barolo-land this year. I've got plenty of visits scheduled for the coming 2 weeks, over 2 dozen in fact, and will be tasting 100s of newly release Piedmontese wines. Of course I'll write up my impressions and make sure I ge tthem to you in due time, but here are some details that just can't wait.
