The Bordelaise have been critisized for the continuous raising of prices over the past few years. I mean the wines are over-priced now, right?
Not if the "best ever" vintage is capable of establishing new, dizzyingly high, benchmark prices. You know what happens then? Those older, over-priced wines are now "great values!"
