Olivier Leflaive Bourgogne Blanc Les Sétilles 2015

The Chardonnay grapes for this wine were sourced from the best of both Puligny and Mersault and thus the wine falls under the Bourgogne Blanc appellation. The name of the wine, “Les Sétilles”, honors the Olivier Leflavie family garden. Steely aromas of lemon drop and wet slate on the nose with a candied citrus peel note and fresh lively tartness. On the palate this is clean, zesty and approachable with bold fruit flavors of lemon and grapefruit, good depth with notes of oak and light herb on the finish. Well balanced, with good spice and bright acidity. SRP: $22.

  • Nice article, but would be truly helpful if buying opportunities were included. Where can we purchase these wines?

I had the Cremant di Bourgogne many years ago and truly enjoyed it.
It is impossible to find in the Rhode Island and ct. area. Even though these are not expensive, the distribution in this area is terrible.
