Summer Party Drink Roundup

5 fun ways to stay cool as the temperature rises

And just like that, it's summer. Seemingly overnight, the tentative harbingers of spring gave way to the unmistakable, assertive heat of summer - at least where we are here in New York. But we're rolling with the punches, excited to use this as a good excuse to expand our repertoire of refreshing drinks, perfect to entertain with.

Why not start off with new twists on old favorites, like the Black and Gold Julep, which uses a vanilla-infused whisky as a complement to the bright mint. Or revisit familiar warm-weather standbys like a party-perfect white sangria, which owes its gorgeous hue to the addition of strawberries and peaches, a drink that crowds can never seem to get enough of.

Whatever you end up serving your thirsty guests, don't forget to share your most popular concoctions with us!

What, no Negroni? Okay, I'll overlook this omission since you included the Lime Rickey. :-D
