Style and Design Spain
When it comes to design, the Spaniards have never been shy. They have traditionally embraced all that is bold and experimental. Their melding of cultures and aesthetics over the centuries seems to have produced willingness to experiment, both with their wines and their wineries.
Of course, a working winery must always value the practical over everything else. Though skinning the practical in something dramatic and bold not only allows for artistic and creative expression, it also allows wineries and its owners to make a statement that separates their work from that of even their closest neighbors.
If you want bold and beautiful, look to Spain, my friends. Even some of the wineries fit the description!

I'm happy to see that the money I've spent on reservas over the years has been invested wisely. However, I'm not surprised that the likeness of their bodegas do not adorn their wine labels. Thank's for an interesting article. Einar

What is the name of the Spanish wine that has the "Toro" on the label? We had it when in Costa Del Sol.

What is the name of the Spanish Wine with "Toro" on the label?

Hi Beetle. It could be Miguel Torres "Sangre de Toro" ("bull's blood"), or it could be referring to the wine region, or DO. The former is an easy drinking lower priced wine, so if it was of higher quality it could be one of the excellent wines now coming out of the Toro DO.

The wine with the Bull on the Label is one of several wines by the Osbourne Sherry and wine company. Founded by a Brit in the 1700's...
Here's the company web page.

Check the webpage, I'm sure you'll find the bottle or the label that you're looking for...Cheers, from an Ex-pat living in Madrid, Spain..
P.S. Sangre del Toro de Bodegas Torres doesn't have a bull on the Label..That's exclusive to Osbourne...

Good suggestion RSM. However, I assume that he is referring to the name "Toro", not an image of a bull?
