New York Tasting Alert, April 13th

Juslyn Winemaker's Pour - still some seats left!

It's not often that one gets to taste a vertical of a premium Napa Valley Cabernet, and rarer still when those wines come directly from the producer's cellar! Join us, Juslyn Vineyards' General Manager Stephanie DeMasi and Snooth's Editor-in-Chief Gregogry Dal Piaz, as we taste these magical wines. Starting with the 2002 (one of the best vintages of the decade) and including every vintage of Juslyn's Spring Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon through 2007, this is going to be a great opportunity to learn about Juslyn, its vintages and how great Napa Valley Cabernets age.

  • Seats are limited at New York’s new private venue, General Assembly, so reserve your place today

  • $50.00 for a white wine reception and seated vertical tasting of Juslyn Spring Mountain Cabernet (2002 through 2007), paired with light food

Located in the Spring Mountain District, Juslyn currently only makes two red wines, both limited-production, Cabernet-dominated blends. The pinnacle of these is the iconic Spring Mountain Estate, and DeMasi is generously offering Snooth users the opportunity to experience this highly-rated, highly allocated wine in a guided vertical tasting.
Demasi will represent the rock star team of winemaker Craig Maclean, a founding member of the Juslyn team and formerly of Cain cellars, and Oscar and Salvadore Renteria of Renteria Vineyard Management who work hand in hand to ensure that yields remain low, maximum physiological complexity is attained and the grapes are harvested at the peak of balance and ripeness. Juslyn wines continue to grow more impressive every year--according to critics who continually score the wines above 90 points, and the wine lovers that keep the wine flying off the shelves for regular sold out vintages.

Discover the nuances of the different vintages over the last six years, get answers to all your questions from an authority on Napa Valley, and share the stories and knowledge that only an insider can possess -- all at New York’s new private venue, General Assembly, that’s open to us for our Winemaker's Pour series.
