From her start of promoting the wines of her family's winery while wearing traditional Tuscan garb, Emilia Nardi has rebuilt her family winery form the ground up.

While Emilia has been in charge, focusing on producing the highest quality wines, the house style of Tenute Silvio Nardi has evolved. She strives to produce wines that are smooth and elegant by taking advantage of the wide varieties of soils that comprise the holding of Tenute Nardi.

The Brunello of Tenute Silvio Nardi

In pursuit of producing the finest expressions of Brunello di Montalcino, Emilia has created two single vineyard Brunello wines: Manachiara and Poggio d'Oro. In addition to focusing on the location of these two crus, one from the west side of the appellation and the other from the east, Emilia instated different regimens in the vineyard and cellars to ensure that each produces a unique expression.
