What to expect:
While these wines offer great value and are lovely on their own and with food, I am hopeful that Georgetta might some day have a free hand with some of the varietals she currently works with. I look forward to one day trying her Charbono, Tempranillo or Teroldego! Find out more about Georgetta and Big House wines here. This award winning Pinot Grigio has classic notes of almond and wildflower with herbal hints and a bright kiwi fruit palate that leads to a clean, minerally finish perfect for light fish dishes or an herb roast chicken.
Big House Syrah Slammer 2006
Nicely perfumed on the nose with a complex array of tar, pepper, violets and wood spice all backing up the blackberry fruit and following through on the bright, lightly herb inflected palate. Serve this with a peppercorn crusted grilled steak!
