Form Meets Function

Making space for the future

Form Meets Function Sometimes cutting edge style leads function, but other times, it is dictated by it.

Regions such as Italy's Alto Adige have such long histories that adapting to the current day often involves more innovation than style. Given the region's dual nature (Austrian and Italian), it's no surprise that design and function here move hand in hand.

What may be distinctly quaint on the outside often surprises on the inside.

  • What a dumb way to show the article. Have it all in one place to catch it all on one page. Also who wrote the article, when was it written and what about their wines?

  • The Pinot Bianco 2009 is dry refreshing and though still possibly too young, disappearing fast at our house. An excellent aperitif wine that stands up well to food, best served in large glasses, with chicken in sauces, grilled fish, pork and white beans.
I have been drinking Tiefenbrunner wines for many years here in Europe (over 20). The Feldmarschall is top of the range, oakier style, but you should buy to try any of their wine if seen on sale. the pinot grigio and bianco being year after year reliable wines that have an extra little bit of length and aroma.
