Etty Lewensztain is not only the proprietor of Beverly Hills Plonk Wine Merchants, but has also recently been voted one of the "30 under 30" movers and shakers in the food and wine industry by Wine & Spirits Magazine.
We spoke with Etty recently and asked her if she would be interested in contributing some video content for our GTiCabernet. We're thrilled to bring you her takes on Cabernet: where it grows best, how to pair it with food and why to age it!
Plonk Wine Merchants prides itself on the artisinal, the unusual and the obscure, so once we move from mainstream Cabernet to something more far afield, maybe we can get Etty to come back and fill us in on the details on those esoteric oddballs.

This is probably the wrong thing to say... I'm a professional... but hubba hubba Etty!

Beats reading - well presented, concise

Thought it was very basic with sweeping generalizations and almost no content on how to pick wine except to say left bank, napa, and chile and calling out a few avas within each. I found it useless. So I quit about 3/4ths thru it.

I really enjoyed these, learned something, and have some ideas about how to proceed with cabs now

I am a new wine enthusiast, and so know very little about wine... other than I enjoy drinking it very much! :) As a Newbie, I went looking for a well regarded wine-of-the-month club and came upon Etty's Plonk Wine Club. Every single wine she has shipped me has been great, and I find myself watching for deliveries at the beginning of each month. Also, my interactions with her (both by phone and email) have been professional, yet very friendly. This lady is a class act.
