Snooth’s West Coast Pinot Throw Down  Flight 3

A bit toasty and middle eastern spicy on the nose with burnished cherry fruit and a savory edge. Very silky on the palate, compact with a little wood soiree over dark, balsamic toned cherry fruit that leads to a long, earthy finish. 91pts

Big spicy blackberry fruit greet the nose with lots of brambly and toasted spice base notes. Silky and yet thick not he palate and packed with wild cherry fruit. There's a fine base of silky tannins here supporting the rich fruit and a little wood spice adding an accent note on the long finish. A big Pinot, easy to like. 91pts

Bright aromatics feature spiced black cherry fruit with a little boysenberry and mineral accent note and nicely integrated wood. This offers up a gorgeous blend of richness and freshness with a silky mouthfeel and earth and coffee accents notes. It just comes up a little short on the finish which does show a bit of alcoholic warmth. 92pts

A bit tight on the nose though big raspberry fruit emerges with air along with floral, blueberry, and graham cracker notes. Fresh and very pretty on the palate if a bit simple, though this is fairly intense with good depth tot he vibrant, sweet fruit flavors. Finishes a bit short. 89pts

Fairly toasty on the nose with coffee oak layered over taut black cherry and wild briary lingonberry fruit. Nervous and taut in the mouth with some chewy tannin adding some cut to the otherwise very clear plate rich with ginger, licorice and black spice nuance. The fruit here is really pretty and gains more complexity on the black tea end of the spectrum on the long finish. 93pts
