We are hosting a free wine tasting class to feature the best of Brazilian wines. 30 lucky guests will join Snooth Editor-in-Chief Gregory Dal Piaz and two visiting winemakers from Brazil for an intimate, in-depth exploration of the wines of Brazil.

To RSVP, simply show us that you love wines from Brazil! Earn your Wines of Brasil badge by taking this super easy, five question quiz. Find the answers you'll need in this article.

You will receive an email next week asking you to confirm your attendance at this exclusive event, which will feature several wines that have never before been offered in the U.S. market!

What to expect:

Aperitif Reception:

We'll showcase two of Brazil’s top sparkling wines, a winemaking style in which Brazil excels! Learn that for yourself when you taste Casa Valduga 60 Brut and Don Giovanni Dona Bita Brut. These will be just two of the multiple wines offered during our aperitif reception preceding the event.

Educational Exploration:

Because so much of Brazil’s wine industry is still a mystery to us all, we have turned to the familiar to serve as an introduction to Brazil's top end wines. Merlot is one varietal that really excels in the terroirs of southern Brazil. Tasting both Pizzato Merlot Reserva and Don Guerino Merlot will introduce us to this style of Merlot and help us understand how it serves as a base for the top of the line Bordeaux-style blends that will follow: Perini Quatro, Lidio Carraro Quorum, Salton Talento, Miolo Lote 43.

We’ll cap off the evening with two standout Moscato wines from Brazilian wineries that specialize in sparklers: Aurora Moscatel Espumante Rosé and Garibaldi Espumante Moscatel!
