The wine is dark ruby and opaque at the core, showing ripeness of the fruit.  The nose exhibits leather, dark cherries, and chocolate.  On the palate, there is more chocolate, dark cherries, and pepper.  Although it seemed a bit hot, the wine had a long, attractive finish and good tannic structure.
The least recommended of the tasting, the high alcohol was immediately present on the nose.  The wine is pale ruby and translucent.  The wine’s nose shows blackberry jam, licorice, and black pepper.  On the palate, there are notes of black fruit, spice, eucalyptus, and overwhelming spiciness.  The alcohol felt too high and the wine generally seemed out of balance. 
This simple wine is pale ruby and translucent.  On the nose, there are notes of red and black fruit, and a bit of concentrated, hard candy sweetness.  The palate shows pleasing red fruit, white pepper, and some dark chocolate, and the finish is medium long. 
This full bodied wine showed notes of leather, vanilla, chocolate, and cherries on the nose and palate.  The fruit was sweet red and black plums, there was some light baking spices, and firm tannins. This was one of the more full-bodied wines of the tasting and recommended.
Here is a value wine that has put the “Terroir Hunting” (T.H.) concept into play. The label indicates that the vineyard is on 2.67 hectares on the Pirque area of the Maipo River alluvial terrace.  The color is dark ruby with slight browning.  There are rich blackberry, sour cherry, baking spices, and earthy notes on the nose.  It’s a full-bodied wine with ripe blackberries, earthiness, and cloves, as well as a nice cherry note on the mid-palate.  The finish is long, there are good tannins, and the wine is very well balanced. Recommended.

Compared with the other value Chilean Cabernet Sauvignons, this Cab has big tannins and high acid.
This single-vineyard wine aged in mostly French oak barrels for a year.  It has a nose of blackberry, tobacco, and a top note of eucalyptus.  It is a lighter-style Cabernet with restrained black fruit, earth, and chocolate on the palate and a medium length finish
