2009 De Bortoli DB South Eastern Australia Chardonnay Family Selection 12.5% $10
Bright and fruity on the nose, with powdery floral tones accenting the green apple fruit. Soft and easy in the mouth with very light, easy, agreeable orchard fruit flavors. The finish has a nice firm edge to it, almost a bit steely with transparent apple notes and a hint of sweetness on the finale. 83pts

I am simply astonished you failed to mention Chateaiu St. Jean, Chateau Set Michelle and Columbia Crest Chardonnay. Year after year they are at the top ov the list for quality caliber Chardonnay. True too the varietal, these are delicious and affordable. Forget the scarce bottlings, these will hold up to the best in double blind tastings and they are redly available. I've done several of the same and these wines always score near the top.
