Frank Sinatra had amazing style. What a classy, well-stocked bar to keep around at all times. +1

  • No tequila on Jimmy Buffett's rider? Wow! I really thought
that he should have hired me to be his on stage bar
Mixologist.... I have for many years now been the on stage
"Bartender" for Jack Johnson.... It's a fun part of my job
to be creative and make different sorts of refreshments
for Jack and his band, family and friends.- Los Arroyo's

Great start to a series! I can't wait to read more. Some of those riders are pretty demanding.

When performing in New Zealand, the rock band Tool insisited on drinking The Hay Paddock Syrah back stage. This is a $75 per bottle wine. Were they just insisting on having the most expensive tipple provided by the promoter? No, seems the lead singer has a superb cellar and a good palate. It is easy to make the wrong assumptions about true lovers of wine.

  • A bands rider is actually the bands expense,
not the promoters in most cases. It's really a
shopping list for the local promoter to have on
hand for the band when they arrive in that
particular city... Only in some cases are the items
on a bands rider coming out of the promoters
pocket, it all depends on the contract.
