Cayman Island Cooking Recently, Snooth hosted a dinner featuring the cooking of Chef Niven Patel, fresh from the Cayman Islands. Chef Niven brought his island attitude to New York and cooked up a stunning dinner paired with wines that he is intimately familiar with.
 
Chef Niven sharpens his knives at The Brasserie and Market in George Town, Grand Cayman. His specialty, not surprisingly, is island-influenced cuisine, but his passion is freshness. Using the freshest ingredients, day boat fish caught by The Brasserie’s own fishing crew, fresh garden herbs, and locally sourced produce means that while Chef Niven’s food is indeed island flavored, at its core there is a philosophy that guides his hand.

    Fantastic post on the food of Cayman island! I had have never an idea that those food, which was mine favorite ones were available at destination where I am flying next month, I have heard that some of <a href="http://www.yabsta.ky/searchresults/1/restaurants"><b>cayman restaurants</b></a> also offer rooms to stay, can you list of them?

  • I was on a long trip with my family to the Cayman Islands. I wanted to explore the city in my own way so I decided to rent a car; to my surprise we got the car at very affordable rent.
