2007 Brass Tacks Central Coast Cabernet Sauvignon California, 13.5%
Cherry, candy licorice, mint and burnt wood notes on the nose. This is rather broad in the mouth, with fairly assertive acidity that adds considerable cut to the ripe red fruits and adds a green apple edge to the mid-palate. The mid-palate is flecked with licorice and spice, while the rather short finish shows powdery, dusty wood tones. Easy to drink, if simple and not particularly well-balanced. 84pts

I love the Château Edmus Saint-Émilion Grand Cru! Just tried it a few months ago and gave it two #WKBadges:

It's 85% Merlot and 15% Cab Franc and now Cab Sauv, however.
