2007 Chateau Edmus Saint Emilion Grand Cru, 13%
Roots, dried leaves, root vegetables, spice, earth and menthol all join together on the savory nose. On entry this is quite smooth and polished, with perky acids floating beneath the surface and nice ripe tannins supporting fresh wild red berry fruit. It’s got a lot of height in the mouth and retains fine focus and freshness from start to finish. The finish is clear and cleansing with a touch of iron and some lingonberry fruit. Combines elegance and rusticity rather deftly with excellent length. 88pts

I love the Château Edmus Saint-Émilion Grand Cru! Just tried it a few months ago and gave it two #WKBadges:

It's 85% Merlot and 15% Cab Franc and now Cab Sauv, however.
