6 Top Value Sangiovese Wines from 2010 The wines of 2010 are the youngest Sangiovese you will find in the marketplace at this time. As real youngsters, these wines tend to be fruity and bright. As the product of a particularly promising vintage, they are richer and rounder than commonly encountered, with many wines exhibiting unusually black fruit.

These are a very approachable set of wines. They are broad and perhaps a touch soft, but with finely ripe tannins that really add volume in the mouth and support the fruit very nicely.

Based on this set of affordable and attractive wines, there is a lot to look forward to from 2010.
