5 Unique Wine Grapes to Focus on this Fall
Breaking out of the routine with some exciting options for Autumn.
Touriga Nacional is a bit of cheat for me seeing as I'll probably recommend it again for winter, but in a different format. You see Touriga Nacional is the main grape used in the production of Port wine, but it has always been responsible for table wines as well, particularly when blended with some of the same grapes used for port such as Touriga Franca, Tinto Cão and Tinta Roriz. Some of these blends are really amazing wines, but for sheer fun tasting Touriga Nacional can’t be beat. You can immediately get a better understanding about Port wines once you have a better understanding of its star component, though I might just prefer Touriga the table wine!
