Delaware has only two vineyards, one of which is so new that it does not yet have a website. The other is Nassau Valley Vineyards. Founded in 1987, it is the first vineyard of the first state.

    love that Chaddsford Winery was featured for PA - that winery is 5 minutes away from where I grew up!

  • Ok, I get that in some states you had to pick the oldest winery because there were so few. But choosing the oldest winery to represent NY, the second largest wine producing state in the country, is pretty lame.

    While Turtle creek does grow some grapes of their own, they source many of their grapes from around the country.
