I love the arrival of spring too and I think you are so right, you have to be prepared. A moment too late and you will be in the scorching summer. I am very interested in your selection, I will tell you how I celebrated Springtime last year was by spending Easter in the South of Burgundy and we discovered a marvelous producer called Jean-Pierre Michel a stone's throw from where we were staying, we loved his Viré Clessé "Terroirs de Quintaine", and his Macon Village just a touch greener that was such a perfect pre-dinner drink.

  • Why not a Muscadet to your shellfish, a Gruener Veltliner to your trout or a Sauvignon Blanc to your asparagus -- and a semisweet Riesling from Mosel or Rhine in the golden sunlight of May!!
